Zylidac Bio LLC. is seeking a candidate with excellent analytical skills and keen attention to detail. The position will be reported directly to VP Supply Chain & Logistics. RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute global procurement strategies that align with the company's objectives in cancer immunotherapy drug development and GMP Manufacturing. Lead the procurement team in the sourcing of raw materials, equipment and services and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness; negotiate contracts that optimize value for the company. Collaborate with cross functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, finance and other G&A support functions to forecast needs and ensure seamless supply chain management. Implement innovative procurement processes and technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements in procurement and supply chain management. Prepare and manage procurement budget, providing regular reports to senior management on performance metrics and cost-saving initiatives. Ensure robust risk management strategies are in place to mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATION - SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
: Must be able to handle a large volume of transactions and maintain high degree of accuracy. Ability to prioritize and work well within a dynamic environment. A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other key platforms. SAP experience a plus. Analytical with keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to grasp concepts and ideas quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Desire to work in a collaborative team environment. Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field; master's degree preferred but not required. Requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience as data analyst in the Procurement/Distribution Pharmaceutical industry. Strong understanding of global supply chain dynamics and regulatory requirement specific to biotechnology or pharmaceutical. Demonstrate ability to lead and develop a team, manage complex projects, and negotiate high-value contracts. Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills Strategic mindset with the ability to anticipate changes and challenges in the marketplace and adapt procurement strategies accordingly.
