The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. Responsibilities Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, reconcile credit card statements and generate journal entries. Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial reporting. Conduct general ledger reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial data. Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information such as receipts, packing slips, completed purchase orders, etc. Utilize accounting software for efficient record-keeping. Support corporate accounting tasks as needed, ensuring timely completion of all reports. Skills Data entry skills for generating purchase orders. Tracking purchase orders, ensuring that order are received timely. Report any discrepancies in deliveries to supervisor or individual requiring the order. Ability to contact various vendors, setup new vendor accounts, set up NTTC's, work with vendors to support our required deliveries. Ability to be assertive when getting deliveries timely. Proficiency in accounting software is essential for managing financial records effectively. Familiarity with general ledger accounting principles and practices. Ability to perform journal entries accurately and efficiently. Experience working for a construction company a plus
