Job Description
Core Tech Industrial Corp. is seeking an experienced Sourcing Manager to lead strategic and tactical sourcing activities across direct and indirect spending, for our growing industrial business. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and comfortable operating in a mid-sized organization where execution and collaboration are critical. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee $50M+ worth of direct and indirect purchase order expenditures
- Manage a team of 4+ purchasing professionals
- Ensure policy and procedure compliance by approving purchase orders and reviewing purchasing terms as needed.
- Lead and/or assist RFQs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract management efforts within the organization.
- Partnering with Engineering, Quality, Product Line and Operation depts to support new supplier qualifications for Tier 2, 3 and 4 suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, risk) o implementing corrective actions as needed
- Lead red-tag recovery and resolution with purchasing team and suppliers for nonconforming material issues.
- Create and maintain purchasing procedures and SOP's to foster continuance improvement and operational excellence.
- Partner with executive management and strategic analyst(s) to act and stay current on market trends, global supply chain risks and organizational procurement strategies.
- Maintain accurate sourcing data, contracts, and documentation
- Promote quality, safety, and environmental policies in daily operations. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field
- 7+ years of direct sourcing/procurement experience in an industrial, manufacturing or engineered to order environment
- Demonstrated success negotiating supplier agreements and driving measurable cost savings
- Strong understanding of direct materials sourcing (metals, fabricated parts, assemblies, etc.)
- Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel; experience with sourcing tools a plus
