Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day supply chain operations for food and related supplies across the foodservice division while meeting budget targets Plan and purchase food, disposables, cleaning supplies, and services in a timely, cost-effective manner while maintaining quality, safety, and specification standards Develop and execute procurement strategies for goods and services Forecast future procurement needs Establish key performance indicators to drive savings and reduce cost of goods Maintain strong supplier relationships while identifying new suppliers and products Negotiate pricing on key ingredients and establish annual purchasing strategies Prepare RFQs for all goods and services Approve purchases in accordance with company policy Coordinate pricing and approved vendor information with internal company departments, including Culinary, Marketing, Sales, and Finance Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate, timely invoice payment Lead direct reports by providing clear direction, training, and support Collaborate with other Procurement Managers in overlapping areas of responsibility
Requirements:
Three or more years of management-level purchasing or procurement experience within a hospitality-focused organization, such as restaurant groups, hotel chains, foodservice companies, or related purchasing groups Bachelor's Degree preferred. Solid understanding of purchasing strategies and inventory management Strong negotiation skills Product development experience preferred Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to support effective buying decisions, resolve issues, improve processes, and reduce costs Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Assertive, outgoing, and professional demeanor Customer-focused with strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent writing and communication skills Manage rebate programs, provide required documentation, and collect reporting Partner with field operations, headquarters departments, and contract services on vendor setups, pricing, and payment terms Conduct business reviews with vendors Negotiate and approve pricing agreements and contracts for food goods and services on a monthly, quarterly, semiannual, and annual basis Manage new account set-ups and changes with field operators.
