Full-Time, Exempt Position Summary The Fab Shop Coordinator provides operational and administrative support to the Fab Shop Manager at our Canal Fulton, OH facility. This role is the connective tissue between sales quoting, purchasing, scheduling, documentation, and production — freeing the Fab Shop Manager to focus on people leadership and technical execution. This is a high-impact role for a detail-oriented, organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and wants to grow with a company scaling toward $500M in revenue. Key Responsibilities Quoting & Estimating Prepare internal quotes and cost estimates for fabrication projects in support of the Fab Shop Manager Coordinate with internal stakeholders (IPS, IS, STS platforms) to gather project scope and requirements Maintain quote logs and track win/loss data to support pricing discipline Purchasing & Procurement Issue and manage purchase orders for materials, supplies, and subcontracted services Coordinate with vendors and the Enterprise Excellence team on supply chain needs Track PO status and resolve discrepancies to keep production on schedule Scheduling & Coordination Manage production scheduling in coordination with the Shop Foreman and Fab Shop Manager Coordinate transportation scheduling for inbound materials and outbound deliveries Flag scheduling conflicts proactively and communicate impacts to relevant stakeholders Documentation & ERP Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, submittals, and job files Enter and manage data across ERP systems; support migration and adoption of new platforms (Acumatica and others) Ensure documentation standards are consistently followed across all fab projects Production Support Serve as the administrative point of contact for internal platform customers (IPS, IS, STS) Support the Fab Shop Manager with reporting, KPI tracking, and operational dashboards Assist in continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with Lindsay's OpEx principles Qualifications Required 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial operations coordination Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Experience with ERP systems or demonstrated ability to learn quickly Ability to read basic technical drawings or willingness to learn Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Experience with purchasing, scheduling, or project coordination in a fabrication or precast environment Familiarity with Acumatica or similar ERP platforms Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or related field What Success Looks Like Fab Shop Manager spends less time on admin and more time on production and people POs are issued accurately and on time, with no production delays due to material gaps Quotes are turned around quickly with accurate cost inputs Job documentation is complete, organized, and audit-ready ERP data is clean, current, and trusted by the team About Lindsay Family of Brands Lindsay Family of Brands is a PE-backed infrastructure company building a leading North American platform across precast concrete, integrated solar and energy solutions, and specialty tank systems.
