Responsibilities:
Leverage expertise in data mining, analysis, and reporting to enhance procurement processes and bolster financial forecasting initiatives. Lead cyclical sourcing activities, including mid-contract negotiations and vendor/subcontract sourcing for Requests for Quotes (RFQs), ensuring competitive pricing and optimal supplier selection. Develop and implement cost-saving projects while spearheading continuous improvement efforts aimed at reducing the cost of goods sold. Manage key supplier relationships by ensuring timely communication and promptly addressing performance issues to achieve inventory and supply chain objectives. Oversee an inventory stocking program that enhances supply security and reduces lead times for customers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and finance, to align procurement strategies with revenue goals and overall business objectives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in international sourcing and purchasing within a manufacturing environment, particularly in the adhesives, tapes, films, or labels sectors. Experience with CRM software Experience with supplier evaluations Experience leading and developing a team
