Job Description:

Emergent Hiring has partnered with a nationally recognized manufacturer, and we are currently seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead buying operations and manage vendor relationships. This role is critical in ensuring strong supplier partnerships, efficient purchasing processes, and accurate inventory management. Key Responsibilities Oversee all purchasing and procurement activities to support manufacturing operations Manage and strengthen vendor relationships to ensure competitive pricing and reliable supply Track inventory levels, including incoming and outgoing materials Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and meet production needs Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements Qualifications Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within a manufacturing environment Proven experience working directly with vendors and suppliers Strong understanding of inventory tracking and supply chain operations Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills A self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach Strong team player who can collaborate across departments
