Job Description Vertiv is hiring This is where strategy meets execution . At Vertiv , you'll own and influence $50M-$100M in annual Capex spend , driving sourcing strategy and delivering measurable impact across manufacturing operations in the Americas. What You'll Own Lead strategic sourcing and procurement execution for $50M-$100M annual Capex & facilities spend Drive end-to-end sourcing lifecycle : strategy, RFx, negotiation, contracting, and supplier execution Build and execute category strategies aligned to cost, timeline, and growth objectives Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and finance to deliver critical initiatives Leverage spend analytics, market intelligence, and cost modeling to identify savings opportunities Develop and maintain Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) / Total Landed Cost models Deliver measurable improvements in cost, cash flow, quality, and risk mitigation Own supplier relationships, performance management, and long-term sourcing strategies Collaborate across a matrixed global procurement organization to drive alignment and scale Act as the category owner , enhancing procurement performance and internal customer experience ✅ Minimum Required Qualifications (Quantifiable / Must-Have) Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, International Business, or related field 4+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or category management Experience managing or supporting multi-million-dollar ($10M+) Capex or indirect spend categories , including sourcing, negotiation, and supplier execution Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable results (e.g., cost savings, cost avoidance, cash flow improvements) Experience leading strategic sourcing events (RFx) and supplier negotiations Proficiency in spend analytics, cost modeling, and data-driven decision making Experience managing cross-functional projects with defined scope, timelines, and deliverables Working knowledge of procurement systems, contracting, and sourcing processes ⭐ Preferred Qualifications (Behavioral / Nice-to-Have) Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, growth environment Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments Exposure to procurement of production equipment or capital projects Bilingual English / Spanish Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to influence without authority in a matrixed organization High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement Collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to build relationships across functions Travel ~10% travel across the Americas ⚡ Why Join Vertiv You won't just manage spend-you'll shape strategy, drive multimillion-dollar decisions, and directly impact manufacturing growth across a global organization .
