Position Summary The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing daily procurement operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and materials that support company goals. This role manages supplier relationships, negotiates pricing and contracts, and drives efficiencies in the purchasing process using the company's ERP system (Acumatica). The Procurement Manager collaborates across departments to align purchasing activities with inventory levels, project needs, and budget targets. Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of the purchasing function, including PO processing and supplier follow-up Leverage ERP system (Acumatica) to maintain accurate purchasing data, vendor records, and pricing Manage the timely ordering and delivery of materials needed for production and operations, overseeing the team Provide leadership, oversight, and professional development for the purchasing team to ensure high performance and growth Develop and provide analysis on forecast accuracy, budget variances, inventory efficiency (turns) and other procurement related metrics. Evaluate vendor performance and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers Hold Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic suppliers and partners. Assist in contract negotiations to ensure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels Support cost reduction efforts by identifying sourcing alternatives or improving supplier terms Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and procedures Work closely with Inventory, Production, and Engineering teams to maintain supply continuity Monitor purchase order accuracy, lead times, and backorders; resolve issues as they arise Oversee the analysis and forecasting of international supply chain trends to inform strategic sourcing and logistics decisions Partner with vendors to ensure complete and accurate commercial and customs documentation, supporting compliance and on-time delivery of international shipments Prepare reports and dashboards on procurement KPIs such as cost savings, vendor performance, and purchase cycle times Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Required Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and inventory tracking software Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and reporting tools Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills Strong leadership and communication abilities Proven track record of process improvement and team management Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with construction or industrial manufacturing supply needs Experience with sourcing mechanical or fabricated components Working knowledge of lean purchasing principles Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, or CSCP) Pre-Employment Requirements Valid Driver's License & Evidence of Ability to Insure Criminal Justice Background Check (state and federal) Drug Test (5-panel) E-Verify eligibility verification Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods in warehouse settings. This position may require employees to sit at a computer station/desk for prolonged periods of time up to 8 hours a day. The employee is regularly required to read, count and write to accurately complete documentation required for the position. Employees must be able to use their hands and fingers to operate keyboard and phone and to file and operate office equipment. This position may require some walking, bending, reaching and standing. Will be expected to adhere to company safety standards and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety glasses, steel-toe boots, gloves, and high-visibility clothing as required by the work environment. Work Schedule This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour lunch as scheduled with management. This position may require hours beyond the standard working hours listed above to satisfy job duties and department demand. Company Benefits Benefit eligibility begins on the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of employment.
