Procurement Manager responsible for overseeing Procurement yards and operators and negotiating with vendors for the purchase of materials and services.Principal Responsibilities:
- Oversees Yard Operators.
- Develops New Vendors.
- Reports changing market conditions.
- Negotiates with vendors for wood, negotiating the best possible guarantee.
- Checks on safety and environmental programs for Procurement yards.
- Covers the duties of the company's Tie Buyers and Procurement Yard Operators when necessary.
- Participates and contribute to company safety program.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
