Manager, MRO Materials Utz Quality Foods, Inc 401(k), profit sharing United States, Pennsylvania, Hanover May 07, 2026 Utz Quality Foods is seeking a MRO Materials Manager to join our team of maintenance professionals. The Manager, MRO Materials oversees the Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) procurement strategy for all manufacturing sites. This role leads standardized purchasing practices, vendor consolidation, and cost-saving initiatives, while ensuring optimal inventory management and accurate data within the enterprise asset management (EAM) system. Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across multi-site operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Ensures utilization of preferred vendors and pricing discounts at all manufacturing plants. Works with existing common vendors to pursue a corporate pricing structure for all plants. Collaborates with service providers to negotiate and secure contracted services and corporate rates. Identifies and distributes alternative non-OEM vendors offering reduced pricing. Monitors purchase orders to ensure conformity of department cost allocations. Creates optimal part inventory levels and re-order points to sustain adequate parts while managing and reducing inventory at all plants. Initiates standardized vendor managed inventory (VMI) across all plants. Assures reporting information in the EAM system is accurate and consistent across the company. Responsible for oversight and direction of MRO purchasing and processes across all manufacturing facilities. Requirements A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least three to five years of professional experience in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) procurement or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience negotiating with vendors, managing purchasing processes, and working with enterprise asset management (EAM) systems such as Infor EAM or similar maintenance management systems (MMS) is highly desirable. Exposure to multi-site operations and vendor consolidation initiatives will contribute to success in this role. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills in dealing with vendors. Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication and sound research skills. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical parts usage. Proven knowledge and understanding of Infor EAM system or equivalent MMS. Ability to make sound and informed purchasing decisions. Ability to be flexible and resourceful to react to urgent MRO procurement needs.
