Job Description

Overview Two positions available. This is a hybrid remote position with weekly onsite work in the Supply Chain department/System. Dartmouth Health is located in the state of NH. The Clinical Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that ensure cost-effective, resilient, high quality supply base. This role involves, advanced analytics, clinical partnership, value analysis, inventory optimization and supplier management. Including, contract management strategies to reduce costs, enhance supplier performance and optimize procurement processes, playing a critical part in advancing supply chain efficiency, and supporting high-quality patient care. This role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders and suppliers and serves as a liaison between Supply Chain and General Counsel. Reviews and negotiates contracts for supplies, equipment and purchased services within the parameters established by General Counsel. Educates Supply Chain staff in understanding contract terms and conditions, statutory, and regulatory issues pertaining to contracts. Responsibilities 1. Analyzes business needs and documents functional and technical requirements, incorporating regulatory compliance, vendor performance, and strategic sourcing objectives. Develops communication strategies, conducts feasibility assessments, prepares status and KPI reports, and ensures adherence to protocols and project goals. Maintains clear and comprehensive deliverables. 2. Plans, schedules, and manages quarterly or bi-annual vendor performance review meetings including end user departments with high spend, strategic vendors by establishing a defined agenda and ensures all actions are thoroughly followed up. 3. Builds and maintains collaborative relationships within the system, gathering essential information from clinical, operational, and support teams to drive successful project and sourcing outcomes. 4. Supports operational and strategic initiatives by developing and refining project models, business solutions, and sourcing strategies through robust data analysis, market research, price benchmarking, TCO evaluations, and vendor landscape assessments. 5. Drives performance improvement by managing sourcing best practices, monitoring vendor KPIs, identifying dependencies, addressing critical issues, and leading performance improvement plans. 6. Acts as an operational resource for internal teams, facilitating problem resolution, coordinating cross-functional efforts, providing timely updates, and ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met. 7. Ensures adherence to quality and compliance standards, assisting with business operations, maintaining project-specific documents (e.g., SOPs, work plans, training guides), and supporting full project/initiative closure. 8. Performs other duties as required or assigned, including proactive identification of cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and strategic sourcing enhancements. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Master of Health Administration (MHA), or related advanced degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in strategic sourcing, vendor management, vendor selection, vendor performance management, and contract management within life sciences, pharmaceuticals, or healthcare provider environments. Professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP, PMP) are beneficial. Knowledgeable in supply chain management, ERP and EMR systems, contract management software, services contracting, accounting principles, cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, market and supplier research, and analytics. Skilled in communication planning, negotiation, data interpretation, and process improvement. Proficient in MS Office Suite, ERP and supply chain information systems, contract management software, and EDI/GHX platforms. Required Licensure/Certifications None.
