Full-Time We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator & Procurement Manager to support federal construction projects throughout the United States. This is a hybrid position offering the flexibility to work from home while supporting multiple projects. Periodic travel to project sites will be required for key project milestones, quality reviews, inspections, workforce coordination, and electrical oversight. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical construction knowledge, estimating experience, procurement expertise, and the ability to support project teams from preconstruction through project completion. This role is best suited for an experienced electrician, estimator, or electrical project professional seeking a long term position with flexibility, and opportunities to support unique federal construction projects nationwide. Responsibilities Estimating & Preconstruction Prepare detailed electrical estimates for federal construction projects Perform quantity takeoffs and material takeoffs Review plans, specifications, and solicitation documents Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Assist with proposal development and bid preparation Identify project risks and opportunities during preconstruction Procurement & Vendor Management Procure electrical materials and equipment for active projects Coordinate material deliveries and project logistics Maintain relationships with suppliers and manufacturers Evaluate product substitutions and value engineering opportunities Track procurement schedules to support project timelines Assist project teams with material planning and forecasting Project Support & Electrical Oversight Provide technical support to project managers and field personnel Conduct site visits at key project milestones Review electrical installations for quality, workmanship, and compliance Assist with inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities Coordinate with field teams to resolve technical electrical issues Verify compliance with project specifications and applicable codes Workforce Planning Assist with recruiting qualified electricians in project regions Support labor planning and staffing efforts Coordinate workforce needs with project management teams Develop relationships with local labor resources in project markets Required Qualifications Master Electrician License preferred Journeyman Electrician License with significant estimating experience will be considered Minimum 5 years of commercial, industrial, or federal electrical construction experience Experience estimating electrical construction projects Experience procuring electrical materials and equipment Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and construction drawings Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software Valid driver's license Must be able to pass background screening requirements and maintain access to U.S. military installations and federal facilities Preferred Qualifications Federal construction experience Military or government project experience Experience supporting projects across multiple geographic locations Experience with design-build and design-bid-build projects Benefits Hybrid work environment with work-from-home flexibility Healthcare Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off Industry-related training and professional development opportunities Opportunity to support unique federal construction projects throughout the United States Company Vehicle Gas Card What Success Looks Like Accurate and competitive electrical estimates Timely procurement of project materials Strong supplier and vendor relationships Effective support of project teams Successful project execution with minimal rework Positive collaboration with field personnel, project managers, and customers Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply immediately.
