The Mobility Services Commodity Manager-Group Travel & Events is responsible for developing and implementing a seamless sourcing strategy that integrates Group, Meeting, and Transient (individual) travel spend to maximize negotiation leverage. This is a high‑visibility role at the intersection of Procurement, Travel Management, Digital/IT, and regional stakeholders, blending category strategy, supplier performance management, analytics, and integration. You bring strong market knowledge, a data‑driven mindset, and enthusiasm for leveraging digital and AI‑enabled solutions to optimize value and end-user experience. We are looking for a Mobility Services Commodity Manager-Group Travel & Events. This is a hybrid position located in Orlando, FL, or Atlanta, GA. You'll make an impact by: Category Strategy & Ownership Own the regional Meeting/Events/Group travel category and set a multi‑year strategy focused on cost, availability, quality, sustainability, and traveler satisfaction. Tailor strategy to regional market dynamics and business needs; conduct market scans to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across global lodging markets. Data, Technology & Innovation Leverage best-in-class travel, event, and procurement technologies (booking/content platforms, BI/analytics tools, automated sourcing solutions) to improve transparency and speed. Integrate AI‑driven analytics (e.g., price trends, value leakage detection, demand clustering, decision support) to inform sourcing and in‑year optimization. Implement leading-edge data quality standards as the foundation for reporting, dashboards, and strategic steering. Sourcing, RFPs & Commercials Support or lead regional RFPs/RFQs, including market analysis, bid evaluation, scenario modeling, and contract negotiations with hotel aggregators, chains , and regional/local partners. Structure and manage framework agreements that secure competitive rates, value‑add inclusions, and service commitments across priority cities and corridors. Supplier & Performance Management Define and monitor KPIs (e.g., cost, usage, availability, quality, compliance, sustainability) and run regular performance/QBR cadences with suppliers. Drive continuous improvement using spend, booking, market, and utilization data; translate insights into clear optimization actions (market mix, property tiers, length‑of‑stay strategies). Program Operations & Governance Partner with Travel Operations to ensure accurate rate loading, auditing, and content integrity across IT platforms; steer booking behavior and channel strategy to improve adoption and compliance. Align with Security & Duty of Care teams on vetted properties and risk standards; support policy design and exception governance. Embed supplier diversity and responsible sourcing standards into the accommodation portfolio. Sustainability & Cross‑Functional Collaboration Integrate ESG and sustainability criteria into supplier selection and contract design (energy/water, certifications, reporting). Collaborate closely with Global Travel Management, Digital/IT, regional procurement, and international business stakeholders to align portfolio choices with traveler needs and project timelines. You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field. 5-8+ years of experience in Strategic Procurement, specifically within the Travel and/or Events category. 5-8 years of experience in leading complex negotiations with global suppliers. 5-8 years of experience working in a global, matrixed organization with the ability to navigate different cultures and time zones. 5-8 years of experience managing corporate meetings/events/group travel strategy, and ecosystems. 5-8 years of experience in understanding procurement, contract lifecycle management, and services sourcing. Fluency in the English language, both written and verbal. Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. Authorized to work in the United States without the need for company sponsorship now or in the future.

MBA preferred. Ability to operate in a cross-functional environment and to engage senior stakeholders. A high degree of original and independent thinking in often undefined areas. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
