Role Summary The Procurement Specialis t owns the end-to-end procure-to-pay process in NetSuite, ensuring the right parts, materials and services arrive on time, at the right cost and quality, to meet aggressive production schedules. You will manage vendor relationships, optimize inventory levels, and collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Finance (AR/AP) to support both operational efficiency and accurate cost accounting. Key Responsibilities NetSuite Procure-to-Pay - Create and maintain item records, issue POs, coordinate approvals, receive items, match invoices, resolve variances, and generate reports. Supplier Sourcing - Identify new suppliers, solicit quotes, negotiate price/terms, and execute contracts that reduce cost and lead-time while safeguarding quality. Production Support - Align purchases with production schedules, monitor shortages, expedite critical items, and maintain optimal safety stock for high-run SKUs. Inventory Accuracy - Coordinate cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and partner with the Inventory team to keep NetSuite stock records accurate. Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work with Engineering on BOM changes, with Finance on AP match and AR chargebacks, and with Logistics on inbound freight optimization. Continuous Improvement - Track KPIs (on-time delivery, PPV, supplier scorecards), drive cost-savings projects, and champion NetSuite best practices in the organization. Required Qualifications 3+ years purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Advanced NetSuite ERP skills (Purchasing, Inventory, Advanced Procurement or equivalent). Proven ability to read technical drawings/specs and align purchasing schedules to production demand. Strong analytical skills; proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets or BI tools for spend and inventory analysis. Excellent negotiation, supplier-management, and written/verbal communication abilities.
Preferred / Nice
-to-Have Bookkeeping or Finance exposure-experience collaborating on Accounts Payable & Receivable or reconciling procurement entries. Background in automotive, RV, or other vehicle manufacturing. CPSM, CIPS or similar professional certification.
