Product Developer / Sourcing Manager

About the Role We're looking for a hands-on Product Developer / Sourcing Manager to help build and scale a global apparel manufacturing platform. This role sits at the intersection of product, sourcing, and business development , working directly with brands to bring concepts to life—from sampling through bulk production. You'll work closely with a global manufacturing partners ( Majestic City and Common Goods ) while leveraging domestic partners for printing and fulfillment to deliver best-in-class product, speed, and cost efficiency. What You'll Do Product Development Manage product lifecycle from concept → sampling → production Review and refine tech packs, fabrics, trims, and construction Oversee fittings, approvals, and quality standards Sourcing & Costing Work with offshore factories to source fabrics and trims Build and manage costing (FOB + DDP structures) Identify opportunities to improve margins and efficiency Vendor & Production Management Coordinate with global vendors to ensure timelines + quality Track sampling and production calendars Support logistics and delivery execution Business Development Support Assist in preparing samples and materials for brand meetings Join meetings (showroom + in-market) with brands Help convert development into bulk production orders What We're Looking For 3-8+ years experience in apparel product development or sourcing Strong understanding of factories, fabrics, trims, and costing Experience with tech packs, fittings, and production processes Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple projects Based in Southern California (OC / LA preferred)

Pay:
