Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement operations and drive supply chain excellence. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while maintaining quality standards. Oversee inventory management and control procedures to prevent shortages or excess stock, utilizing MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems for planning. Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain teams to coordinate procurement activities and improve overall supply chain performance. Evaluate supplier performance regularly through vendor management practices, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards. Lead procurement team members by providing guidance on sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and procurement best practices. Requirements Proven experience in procurement management within manufacturing or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle EBS for procurement and inventory management. Expertise in sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management. Familiarity with supply chain concepts including logistics, inventory control, and supplier evaluation. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing advantageous terms for the organization. Ability to analyze market trends and leverage procurement data to inform decision-making. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively across departments and with external suppliers.
