Job Description

Our client, an Ecommerce, is looking to hire a Procurement Project Manager in Bellevue WA. Title

  • $60 to $64/hr on w2 (depends on exp) The position is contract with preference for Bellevue location, though remote work is acceptable with at list 3 days on-site presence for ramp-up and key meetings.
Requirements for a Level 3 procurement and logistics project manager contractor to handle 200+ backlog tickets and support supply chain operations. The role requires managing 200+ tickets involving procurement, vendor coordination, shipment tracking, and customer communication across multiple sites. The position was upgraded from Level 1 to Level 3 to match the complexity and required experience level. The team emphasized the need for strong communication skills, ability to handle ambiguity, and experience with systems like Jira, CUA, and SAP. Target candidates with PMP/PMI certification and supply chain experience Conduct either 1 or 2 rounds of 45-minute discussions depending on interviewer availability Focus on leadership principles: bias for action, dive deep, customer obsession, and earned trust Role requirements and scope: The position involves managing 200+ procurement and logistics tickets across 2 different customers. Key responsibilities include working with sourcing teams, suppliers, and vendors to track incoming shipments and expedite urgent requests. The role also requires processing outbound logistics tickets for hardware shipments to other sites and maintaining effective customer communication throughout the ticket lifecycle.
Previous contractor challenges:
The previous contractor experienced difficulties with multiple aspects of the role including ticket execution, project mapping, customer service, communication, and maintaining predictable work schedules. These challenges highlighted the need for a more experienced candidate who can handle ambiguity and provide end-to-end ticket management.
Technical and system requirements:
Candidates should have experience with Jira, CUA, and SAP systems, as the current workflow heavily utilizes these platforms. The role requires someone who can perform cognitive work to map ticket groups to appropriate projects and route them accordingly. Strong attention to detail and information management capabilities are essential.

The ideal candidate should have PMP/PMI certification, supply chain and procurement experience, and ability to handle ambiguity across multiple sites and stakeholders.
