at Crate & Barrel in Northbrook, Illinois, United States Job Description The Senior Manager, Software Engineering - Enterprise Item and Sourcing is a strategic and technical leadership role responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide product sourcing, vendor operations, and item data ecosystem at Crate and Barrel. The role includes end-to-end ownership of vendor-facing processes such as onboarding, purchase order (PO) services, invoicing, chargebacks, item classification, and vendor integration platforms( EDI , OpenText, GTNexus). You will ensure the stability, reliability, and performance of legacy systems (AS400/ RPG , . NET ) while supporting the roadmap for future modernization and API -based integrations. You will also lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team, driving operational excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning across engineering and operations.
