Foxx & Associates. Headquartered in downtown Cincinnati, the Foxx group of companies is minority-owned, employing over 2,000 people in nine states.

By taking away the headaches that come from managing hundreds (or even thousands) of vendors, we free up procurement teams so they can better leverage their talents to focus on tasks of greater value. This position is responsible for Strategic Sourcing of Services. Will be responsible for ensuring that Versatex will realize increased investment efficiency of monies spent and ensure fair value and service accountability. Will also identify opportunities for operational improvements and seek agreement through consensus management. Key Responsibilities
- Drive total of ownership improvements including supplier performance and develop the supply base, whilst listening to and delivering results for your stakeholders and in line with the organization's Business Plan.
- Market Analysis, RFx development, negotiation planning, competitive price and cost analysis, financial analysis, contract development and on-going supplier management.
- Focus on optimization of internal sourcing processes, workflows, and interfaces in effort to reduce time of delivery and costs in support corporate objectives and industry best practices.
- Frequently discuss our performance with our clients
- Identifies, pursues, and maximizes opportunities for realizing cost savings without sacrificing the quality, service and reliability expected of our suppliers.
- Manages and monitors organizational compliance with all established supplier agreements.
- Partners with the Company and Client leadership teams to establish company-wide procurement systems, tools, processes, policies, and procedure. Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or other related area; relevant experience may be substituted for degree, when appropriate; advanced degree preferred.
- A minimum of 6 years of progressively responsible experience in Sourcing or Commodity Management role, including Construction Services.
- Solid understanding of basic Strategic Sourcing process steps; proficient knowledge of assigned commodity(ies)
- Fully competent in performing research and analysis and financial analysis, including variance reporting and bid evaluation
- Competent at supplier financial evaluation techniques and leading cross functional teams
- Fully competent in presentation skills; communication skills; value-based decision analysis; and consensus building.
- Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities (data analysis and benchmarking research) desired
- Experience in sourcing strategy development and implementation
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) and/or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) a plus
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to act as project lead in the development and implementation of projects, processes and programs required.
- Must be proficient with PCs, Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management Tools, Ariba or other eSourcing.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be willing to comply with pre-employment screening, including but not limited to drug testing, reference verification, and background check.
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time during any project implementation effort. Desired Characteristics
