Retail Store Planning & Procurement Support the Retail Experience from Behind the Scenes We're looking for a hands-on Supervisor of Fixture Purchasing to join a high-impact team supporting store development for a major Fortune 500 retailer. This role combines detailed purchasing execution with day-to-day team leadership—managing timelines, vendors, and team deliverables to keep fast-paced retail projects running smoothly. If you're organized, vendor-savvy, and ready to guide others while staying close to the work, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do Oversee purchasing activities for retail fixtures, signage, and materials across new stores, remodels, and refreshes Manage and support a small team of purchasing coordinators Issue and track purchase orders, budgets, and timelines across multiple concurrent projects Build strong relationships with domestic and international vendors Forecast project needs and assist with annual bid strategy and pricing negotiations Provide regular updates on material status, delivery risks, and purchasing milestones Reconcile invoices, resolve vendor issues, and support cross-functional project teams Monitor inventory levels and proactively resolve shortages or delays Lead special purchasing initiatives and help streamline internal processes What You'll Bring 5+ years of purchasing experience, ideally in a fixture or store planning environment Prior experience supervising or mentoring others in a fast-paced setting (leadership experience required) Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple purchase cycles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Smartsheet experience a plus Knowledge of cost tracking, purchase order systems, and vendor negotiation Clear communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset Familiarity with purchasing systems like PeopleSoft preferred Why Join Us?
