We are seeking a Director of Payer Strategy & Contracting to lead the transition from an outsourced model to an in-house function and support contracting efforts across all markets. What You'll Own Lead the transition from an outsourced contracting vendor to an in-house model Negotiate payer contracts across all AllerVie markets ( BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, UHC + regional plans ) Build and maintain internal contracting infrastructure (contract database, SOPs, rate tracking) Drive rate improvement through CPT-level fee schedule analysis and benchmarking Review and redline contract language (carve-outs, termination clauses, Buy & Bill provisions ) Partner with RCM, billing, and operations to align workflows Provide visibility and updates to executive leadership (CFO/CEO) What We're Looking For 7+ years of payer contracting experience , ideally in specialty or multi-site physician practices Direct negotiation experience with major commercial payers Experience transitioning from outsourced to in-house contracting or building internal capabilities Strong analytical skills: fee schedule modeling, rate benchmarking, CPT-level analysis
Bonus:
