  • Review and interpret Supplier Statements of Work, subcontract specifications, and procurement terms for specialized materials, equipment, and services.
  • Supplier On-boarding, high-volume RFI/RFP capabilities, supplier source selection, and purchase order placement, with a focus on post award management
  • Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, evaluate proposals, and negotiate subcontract provisions.
  • Recommend or select subcontractors, draft award letters, and administer resulting sub contracts, including any modifications.
  • Perform cost/price analysis, negotiate terms, and maintain meticulous documentation for purchase orders.
  • Procure build to print parts and assemblies from engineering drawings for various aircraft programs.
  • Source and purchase machinery, tooling, raw materials, packaging, parts, services, and other supplies needed for operations.
  • Collaborates with program requestors to develop innovative subcontract requirements as needed for our development efforts, while utilizing compliant processes and standards.
  • Expert ability to support or draft compliant F-250s / Non-Competitive Justifications
  • Capable of responding to requestor questions or concerns, to provide compliant yet, creative solutions to complex problems.
  • Active ability to perform peer reviews,
  • Support the POST Award management of Service and Hardware Contracts as specified in Supplier SOWs to include their unique terms and conditions.

AeroSCM Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education Experience with have one of the following:
  • Procurement/Buying
  • Purchase Orders (PO)
  • Supplier Proposal
  • Managing Supplier/Customer Relationships
  • Negotiation
  • Peer Reviewer
  • Data Analysis
  • Vendor Management
  • Experience as a current Procurement or Buyer within
Subcontract Management Desired Skills:
  • Experience in reading & understanding Statements of Work (SOWs) to understand program & customer requirements
  • Experience with different contract types
  • Experience with Systems, Applications and Processes (SAP)
  • Experience with
FAR/DFAR
  • Capable of making business-based decisions for current level
  • Excellent Communication Skills (verbal, written and presentation)
  • Ability to multi-task with follow-up and follow through
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assignments
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Ability to develop or utilize discipline in following processes and procedures

Work Remotely:
Part-time Remote Telework:
The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
