Job Description:
A growing defense technology company is hiring a Procurement Manager to own sourcing strategy and supplier relationships as the company scales from development into full production. You'll run the full procurement lifecycle, negotiate the contracts, and be the person who keeps the supply base compliant, cost-effective, and on schedule. If you want real authority over sourcing decisions instead of just cutting POs someone else negotiated, this is your seat. What you'll do Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers against technical, quality, and cost requirements Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to drive optimal value Own the full procurement lifecycle, from requisition to PO issuance to delivery tracking Lead procurement through the transition from development to full-scale production Partner with engineering, quality, and finance to align sourcing with timelines and budgets Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective action Keep procurement compliant with U.S. government regulations and audit-ready What you'll need 5+ years of procurement experience, ideally defense or aerospace Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field Strong knowledge of U.S. government procurement regulations (ITAR, FAR/DFARS) Proven strategic sourcing and supplier negotiation track record Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools Nice to have CPSM, CPIM, or equivalent certification International sourcing and export control experience Ability to read technical drawings, PCBA schematics, and engineering docs Our hiring process We respect your time and run a fast, transparent process.
