JOB SUMMARY
The Procurement Manager oversees operations and strategic planning of procurement activities in accordance with all applicable federal and tribal laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. Manages procurement staff through assignment of duties, scheduling, performance oversight, and team development. Ensures compliance with procurement policies, procedures and regulatory requirements while maintaining consistent inventory control procedures and accurate tracking of governmental assets. Assists with planning, coordination, setup, and purchasing of governmental furniture, equipment, and operational needs. Collaborates with vendors and external partners conducting business with Tribal Government to support procurement operations and service delivery. Promotes a positive, professional work environment while fostering team training, accountability, and ongoing team development.
COMPENSATION
$36.86 MINIMUM
REQUIRED EDUCATION
High School Diploma or GED equivalent Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field. •Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis. Bachelor Degree in related field preferred.
MINIMUM RELATED EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years of experience with supervisory responsibilities, developing and building teams. Five (5) years of purchasing and procurement experience. Two (2) years of experience with financial management, creating and maintaining budgets. Two (2) years of experience with project management to include meeting timelines, maintaining schedules, monitoring project costs, and contractor management. Two (2) years of experience reviewing and managing contracts.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES WA
State Driver License. (Personal Auto Insurance) Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
