In this vital role, you will oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and inventory control processes to ensure seamless production flow and supply chain efficiency. Your expertise will drive cost-effective procurement strategies, foster strong supplier relationships, and optimize materials management across manufacturing operations. Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with production schedules and company objectives. Manage end-to-end purchasing processes using ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Oversee supplier management activities, including qualification, performance evaluation, negotiations, and contract administration to secure reliable supply sources. Coordinate with production planning teams to align materials procurement with demand forecasts, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), and lean manufacturing principles. Monitor inventory levels through rigorous inventory management practices, implementing inventory control measures to minimize waste and excess stock. Optimize logistics and warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of materials across the supply chain network. Lead continuous improvement initiatives in materials management processes, leveraging ERP systems for data-driven decision-making and process automation. Experience Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or materials management within manufacturing or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, and other supply chain software platforms. Demonstrated ability to manage supplier relationships effectively while negotiating contracts that benefit the organization. Familiarity with production planning, demand forecasting, inventory control techniques, and logistics operations. Hands-on experience with MRP systems, lean manufacturing practices, and warehouse operations is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
