This position will primarily be assigned is located at Eielson AFB in Alaska, in support of the the F-35 Program. This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist (SG) and will be responsible for security support of classified and unclassified areas of the F-35 Mission Training Center MTC). The position will also be supporting Personnel Security/Security Education and Training Awareness Specialist (PERSEC/SETA) duties and in support of the F-35 program, this position will primarily be assigned basically 1st shift but may require flexibility to work other shifts as directed by customer requirements to include weekends and other shifts assigned to support mission events. Occasional business travel may be required to include deployment and detachment support in arduous or austere locations to support F-35 security operations outside of Eielson AFB, AK. To meet customer operational window needs at times a non-standard work schedule will be required. Duties will include, but are not limited to: assist instructors, technicians, and visitors using the facility, operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random entry/exit searches; enforce all USAF, Joint Program Office and local security procedures and practices, DoD Manual 5205.07 Vol 1-4, ICD 705, TSCO responsibilities, controlling access to secure areas, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, and monitoring compliance with COMSEC and
COMPUSEC
; provide assistance with file plans and documentation maintenance in classified container; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security inquires; assist in providing training and scheduling of vault hours and coverage in specified MTC areas and additional duties as required/assigned. #rmshotmiljobs
Basic Qualifications:
1.) Experience working multi-functions of security, such as Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC), and Security Education Training and Awareness (SETA). 2.) In depth ICD 705 Physical Security knowledge and application. 3.) Current SECRET security clearance with an investigation within 5 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program. 4.) Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs). 5.) Previous SAP experience & in depth knowledge of DoD 5205.07. 6.) Excellent written and verbal skills. 7.) Industrial and/or military security experience. 8.) Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products. 9.) Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers. 10.) Prior experience as a CSSO, GSSO, PSO, ASM, or PSR.
Desired Skills:
1.) Experience as a Contractor SAP Security Officer (CSSO). Government SAP Security Officer (GSSO), or Government Program Security Officer (PSO). 2.) Experience working in a military environment: prior experience working with
USAF, USMC/USN. 3.
) Prior experience teaching / instructing security. 4.) Ability to work with a team in a flexible and deal with constantly changing program requirements.
