About the Role The Account Manager is the primary owner of assigned client events and is accountable for success from planning through execution. This role leads client relationships, guides event strategy, and coordinates internal teams to ensure all deliverables align with client goals, approved scope, and LRY standards. Serving as the central point of accountability, the Account Manager connects vision to execution, maintains strong client partnerships, and ensures clarity, consistency, and excellence across every phase of an event. Objectives of this role Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for assigned clients. Lead event strategy, planning, timelines, and deliverables from kickoff to execution. Translate client goals into actionable plans in collaboration with internal teams. Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure accountability across departments. Manage budgets, scope, and approvals in collaboration with leadership. Provide onsite supervision leadership and real-time problem-solving during events. Responsible for post-event reports that will help to continue improvement. Ensures ongoing communication across cross-functional teams, CEO, and client. Responsibilities Lead client meetings, planning calls, and check-ins. Lead end-to-end event planning by translating client goals into actionable plans and timelines, ensuring alignment across creative, production, logistics, budget, and execution teams. Serve as the central connector across internal departments by assigning responsibilities, facilitating planning and alignment, and escalating risks or issues to leadership as needed. Manage event budgets by tracking expenses, monitoring scope, coordinating approvals, and supporting accurate forecasting and reconciliation. Provide onsite leadership during events to ensure timelines are met, address client needs, and support real-time problem-solving. Participate in post-event debriefs to gather feedback, identify improvements, and support documentation and knowledge sharing. Skills and Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in event management, account management, or project management. Proven ability to manage client relationships and complex projects. Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills. Ability to supervise and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required. Travel:
Ability to travel frequently by car, airplane, or other commercial transportation for client meetings, office visits, and events.Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and climb stairs for extended periods during regular workdays, meetings, site visits, and live events. Ability to remain seated or standing at a desk and work on a computer for extended periods of time. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials, supplies, and equipment up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally with assistance.
