Technicians and gain ALANG membership, all current federal employees, all U.S. Citizens Duties Help 1. Participes in DOD/DA/Ste inspections, inquiries, and investigions to perform review, analysis, evaluion, staffing and coordinion. During on-site , conducts interviews and da ghering assignments in the administrive and management areas. Analyzes assigned area to identify procedural deficiencies and compliance with regulory procedures. Explains Army systems, procedures and processes as they rele to problem areas to improve operions and accomplish command objectives. (30%) 2. Conducts investigions of allegions made and problems or deficiencies identified during the course of inspecting JFHQ (Ste) or unit operions reling to areas assigned. Processes complaints and requests for assistance emaning from personnel within the Ste and investiges or inquires to substantie alleged or suspected instances of non-compliance of individuals or organizion with laws, rules, regulions, executive orders, or other mandory regulory requirements. Deals directly with the commanders and upper level leadership in the resolution of problems and complaints. Maintains, controls, and follows-up on each case until resolved and closed. Prepares reports analyzes trends for the IG and JFHQ (St) leadership. Serves as an instructor/facilitor in explaining Army or Air systems, procedures, and processes as they rele to problem areas in inspected functions and activities. (30%) 3. Develops/interprets policies and published guidance throughout the JFHQ (St) and to the IG. Evalues and processes inspection/investigion deficiencies. Determines responsiveness of organizional replies and adequacy of response/corrective actions taken on reported deficiencies resulting from reports of general, procurements and technical inspections/inquires/investigion. Participes in developing course of action to assist all levels of management across functional lines throughout the Ste and higher headquarters for resolution of controversial issues/problems. Manages a follow-up program for reported deficiencies through contacts within DOD/DA /Ste/IG offices/Internal Review/AAA/ inspected agencies, commands and activities. Performs long range planning and analysis, systemically researches, collects, organizes, and analyzes pertinent da to determine and identify major systemic issues. Examines and analyzes da and narrive informion. Portrays results in terms of functionally reled issues and performs problem and trend analysis to provide an assessment to The Adjutant General, leadership and staff. (25%) 4. Prepares and reviews periodic and recurring IG reports and analyses of deficiency trends for the JFHQ (St) presents these trends to the IG and or JFHQ (St) leadership. Assists MTOE, TDA or UMD Commanders by providing timely informion and guidance and working proactively to correct systemic problems which impact mission support, Soldiers or Airmen and command readiness. Conducts special and follow-up inspections, inquiries, and investigions as directed by the IG. Manages the IGNET da base for case entry, performing IG Quick Look inquiries and special inspections in areas of concern. Reviews pre-deployment individual and unit checklists to insure regulory compliance. Develops and updes internal office protocol and guidelines. Manages internal office budget. (15%) 5. NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED.

Any serious criminal activity, to include drug use, will result in the immedie removal of an employee from IG duty and loss of access to IGARS and IGNET. Employee must have no record of criminal punishment except for minor offenses or derogory informion contained in IG records as screened by the USAIGA and SAF-IG.
