Job Summary:
The TRiO Academic Program Coordinator assists the Program Manager with the daily administration one of the TRIO academic programs. Provides academic, financial aid, graduate school, personal, and career advising to a caseload of students in the TRiO Student Support Services program. Coordinates the peer mentor program. Plans events every other month.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Skills and Knowledge:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work with students, faculty, and staff in a collaborative manner (with little to no supervision). Strong relationship building skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in higher education, student affairs, social work, counseling, or other related field. Three (3) years of direct TRIO experience. Relevant advising, counselor, case management, higher education, or direct engagement with at-risk student populations experience.
