Recovery Residence Specialist Supervisor:

40 hours per week | Typically Monday through Friday | Occasional Weekend and Holiday Description The Recovery Housing Specialist will provide compliance support, employment and financial literacy assistance, and supervision support for participants in the Recovery Residence Program. This team member will also help us develop a healthy, mutually-supportive community among our program participants and will work cross-functionally with our Peer Support Program team. They will perform outreach in the community and ensure that everyone in central Arkansas knows about the WSF Recovery Residence Program! Job Duties The Recovery Housing Specialist will provide compliance and supervision support to program participants by: Ensure that all participant records are up to date and accurate in recovery housing software; Working with the programs manager to manage the interview and intake process for new program participants, including referring people who are not a good fit for the program to the Peer Support Program team for referral to another appropriate housing resource; Working with the programs manager to ensure that each recovery residence unit receives an inspection at least once each week and that the residence units are compliant with program and national certification standards and that they are clean, neat, and tidy at all times; Working with the programs manager to ensure that each participant receives a urinalysis drug screen and/or breathalyzer alcohol screen at least once each week; Working with the programs manager to ensure that all program participants are in compliance with WSF handbooks, policies, and procedures (including by using software and other tools to monitor curfews, locations, entry/exit to the units, and other points of compliance) and that any instances of noncompliance are appropriately remedied; Working with the Programs Manager and Executive Director to ensure that all program participants remain financially compliant, including by accepting payment on behalf of the Wolfe Street Foundation and accounting for such payments appropriately; Ensuring that program participants are moved into and out of residence units in a timely manner and in compliance with program handbooks, policies, and procedures; and Pursuing continuous improvement by suggesting updates to handbooks, policies, and procedures to the Programs Team and Director of Operations. The Recovery Housing Specialist will develop a healthy, mutually supportive community and work cross-functionally with the Peer Support Program team by: Working one-to-one or in small groups with program participants to develop financial literacy and budgeting skills; Collaborating with the Peer Support Program team to directly navigate participants to employment and/or job skills training opportunities to produce a livable wage; Developing participant and alumni programming to foster community-building; Collaborating with the Peer Support Program team to create and implement Grow or Go compliance contracts and extra support for program participants; and Work in a spirit of continuous improvement to increase recovery capital with program participants and improve WSF's ability to serve people in recovery. The Recovery Housing Specialist will perform outreach in the community and work with partnering agencies by: Developing relationships with referral sources and providing a clear and available line of communication for intake; Working with the Programs Manager and Executive Director to develop paid partnerships with providers and agencies that support recovery housing costs for program participants; Communicating with paid partners on intake, invoicing, payment, and accounting for all supportive payments made on behalf of program participants and/or to the program; and Representing WSF in the community and at events in a professional manner. The Recovery Housing Specialist will perform other duties as assigned to assist the Programs Manager, contribute to the overall success of the Recovery Residence Program, and support the mission of the Wolfe Street Foundation. Qualifications Recovery Residence Specialists will have the following education/certification qualifications: Valid Arkansas Driver's License A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (required) Certification as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PR) or Advanced Peer Recovery Support Specialist (APR) in the Arkansas Model of Peer Recovery (preferred) Recovery Residence Specialists will have the following experience and preferred skills: Experience working in a peer recovery, treatment, or professional addiction services setting Experience working as a team to accomplish a goal Experience working with electronic and/or paper documentation to track notes and contacts Self-starting, initiative-taking attitude with a high degree of self-motivation Passion and compassion for the recovery community and peers Compensation Recovery Residence Specialists start at $16 per hour.
