While this role supports both Service-Learning and Civic Engagement efforts, it places a primary emphasis on advancing Civic Engagement initiatives across our two campuses (Pecos and Williams). Essential Functions Student Engagement Programming (30%) Assist in program logistics, workshops, presentations, and events that promote service learning, civic engagement, voter education, and community involvement. Support initiatives that foster civic literacy, dialogue, and social responsibility Guide students toward meaningful volunteer and leadership opportunities. Support Student Leadership Roles (25%)- Serve as staff advisor to various student clubs and organizations like the Associated Student Government of Chandler
- Gilbert Community College and/or Rotary Club (as an example).
- Experience within other community college systems or higher education institutions is valued and may be considered in addition to MCCCD experience.
