This role serves as the primary Business Services point of contact for internal stakeholders involved with the Community Education program. In addition, the Program Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient day-to-day functioning of the Business Services Office. Essential Functions 25%
  • Serves as the primary contract coordinator and program liaison for GCC auxiliary services (food, printing and bookstore), providing program information, carrying out program objectives, controlling costs and serving as the point of contact for auxiliary service representatives. Responds to inquiries, makes assessments and resolves issues in accordance with college objectives 25%
  • Creates original correspondence, reports, documents, and program materials.
Reviews web pages for accuracy and makes updates as needed. Performs basic research and analysis related to college auxiliary services; gathers pertinent information and compiles, analyzes and summarizes data. Provides assistance with equipment maintenance agreements, creating requisitions, and initiating help desk tickets 20%
  • Serves as the primary coordinator and Business Services liaison for faculty and staff of the GCC Community Education program.
Assists with the development and implementation of program guidelines, forms, policies and procedures related to Business Services. Coordinates, monitors and troubleshoots assigned programs and keeps executive(s) and stakeholders up to date on progress ensuring deadlines and timelines are met. Organizes, updates and maintains program records, files, manuals, documentation and eStore portal 20%
  • Provides Business Services office assistance with requisitions, purchasing, issuance of office supplies, and creating help desk tickets related to webpage updates and office maintenance issues.
Maintains and updates eStore portal. Compiles and enters data for directories, databases, summaries, reports or correspondence. Creates forms, templates or other automated documents for internal and external use using standard office software 10%
  • Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, business or public administration, or a directly related field and one year of experience in researching information, gathering data, performing preliminary analysis and preparing reports.
OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Desired Qualifications A. Experience collaborating with vendors, such as managing vendor contracts, and communicating updates and/or changes to stakeholders B Two (2) years of customer service experience C. Experience creating, processing, and/or maintaining accurate documents D. Experience with online financial or accounting systems E. Experience researching, reviewing, and/or verifying information for accuracy F. Experience in using spreadsheets and productivity software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace G. One (1) year of relevant full-time MCCCD experience during the previous two years Special Working Conditions May be required to work at multiple sites or locations.
