It is committed to erasing hunger and loneliness for at-risk older adults through nutritious meals, friendly visits and safety checks, and keeping families together through day services. Through its critical services, the organization delivers nearly 2 million meals to 20,000 at-risk older adults each year throughout Central and North Orange County. Meals on Wheels Orange County is a dba of Community SeniorServ, Inc.

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for promoting, coordinating, managing, and for the day-to-day operations of the CHOICE Restaurant and To-Go Pilot Program, including completing enrollment and service delivery data entry, coordinating with Community Based Organizations (CBOs), promoting program participation, and troubleshooting other program areas as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program enrollment data entry adds new clients and assigns SeniorDine meal cards, completing client data entry and assessments in dual reporting systems; coordinates completion of annual program reassessments and completes reassessment data entry. Arranges delivery of SeniorDine cards to program participants; prints and mails welcome packets for Restaurant participants; prints scanning cards and delivers them to CBOs for To-Go participants. Verifies meals scanned in SeniorDine and ServTracker; makes corrections and updates seconds served in both reporting systems as needed before recording all units in WellSky. Coordinates directly with CBOs on collection of required documentation, answering compliance questions, providing status updates on meal allocations, and other promotional aspects of the program. Visits dine-in restaurants monthly to collect comment cards, nutrition education reporting, and other survey or reporting data; provides additional printed materials needed by restaurants for day-today program functions. Works directly with new Restaurants and CBOs to onboard them including providing training on program manual, SeniorDine system, and compliance requirements. Attends community events to promote the dine-in Restaurant program and collect interest lists or registration forms. Communicates program updates to CBOs and restaurants including updates from Office on Aging, Environmental Health Department, or Meals on Wheels Orange County. Supports other Social Services Department programs (Home Delivered Meals, Congregate Meals, In Home Services) and reporting and administrative functions as assigned. Attends staff meetings and training sessions as required. Performs other duties and assignments related to the CHOICE program, Social Services department, and company special projects as deemed necessary and appropriate.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Associate Degree or equivalent preferred; comparable work experience in lieu of formal education will be considered. Must be able to work well with persons of all ages, especially elderly people. Must be familiar and have moderate experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and SharePoint; experience with client management software ServTracker and data tracking software WellSky or similar systems desirable. Be able to read, interpret and implement regulations, policies, and procedures. Must be able to maintain complex records and data; Valid California Driver's License and auto insurance as required by state, and ability to provide own transportation (vehicle) is required. Must maintain a clean DMV driving record and enroll in MOWOC's DMV Pull Notice Program.
PHYSICAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to travel frequently between multiple locations. Ability to use a computer keyboard, sit in a stationary position for extended periods, and use office equipment such a copy machine, printer, filing cabinets, and telephones. Constantly extends body, arms or hands as needed to perform essential duties and responsibilities. Occasionally ascends/descends and positions self as needed to complete essential duties and responsibilities. Workload requires constantly speaking, communicating, interpreting or exchanging information accurately. Constantly perceives objects over moderate or long distances, with or without accommodation. Ability to move, transport, and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
