A Program Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple related projects that align with an organization's strategic goals. Unlike a Project Manager who focuses on a single initiative, a Program Manager ensures that all interconnected projects work together smoothly to deliver broader business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
Define program goals and align them with company objectives.
Project Coordination:
Oversee multiple projects, ensuring they complement each other.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate with executives, clients, and cross-functional teams.
Budget & Resource Management:
Develop and manage program budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks across projects and implement mitigation strategies.
Performance Monitoring:
Track progress using KPIs and report outcomes to leadership.
Governance & Compliance:
Ensure all projects adhere to internal policies and external regulations.
Required Skills:
Strong leadership and organizational abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira) Strategic thinking and problem-solving Financial acumen and budgeting expertise
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration One year warehouse operations One year working with Volunteers Three years supervisory experience OR an equivalent of all of the above in working experience Valid CA DL with clean driving record DMV print out Clear understanding of food storage - handling - and inventory practices Bilingual highly desired Successful completion of live scan, physical and substance abuse screening upon offer of employment
