JOB GOAL
To provide leadership, coordination, and support in the development and implementation of instructional programs, services, and community school initiatives that meet the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs of all students—including those in general education and special education classes—while fostering family and community engagement
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitors and provides coaching/assistance that supports implementation of District-adopted curriculum programs for both general education and special education Ensures curriculum implementation aligns with state standards and addresses the diverse needs of the student population Provides resource assistance and consultation to staff on curriculum, instructional strategies, and intervention supports; assists in the selection of appropriate supplementary instructional materials Acts as a resource for planning and delivering professional development and in-service training; provides leadership and/or assistance in implementation (e.g., coaching cycles, model lessons) Coordinates staff development activities that address both general education and special education instructional practices Assists in the design and implementation of site-based staff development and improvement plans Maintains necessary records, reports, and documentation to ensure program accountability and compliance Assists in the implementation of programs and procedures to maintain state and federal compliance for both general and special education Facilitates and/or participates as a member of Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams Provides one-to-one and group support for implementing Behavior Intervention Plans and positive behavior supports Observes, consults, and assists with school site support staff to maintain effective communication and collaboration across teams Fosters family and community engagement by collaborating with parents, community agencies, and partners to support student learning and well-being Coordinates school-based initiatives aligned with community schools model, including expanded learning, health and wellness supports, and family resource connections Models personal and professional values of equity, integrity, caring, collaboration, personal and collective accountability Performs other related duties as assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and work year according to current schedule; certificated salary schedule, 190 days
SALARY :
$78,145 - $ 133,656 annually (190 day. Max Salary includes educational stipends)
EVALUATIONS
Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the District's "Improvement of Professional Services" handbook, Board Policies and Procedures and consistent with collective bargaining agreements when applicable.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operator's license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter, as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
