After-School Care Program After-School Enrichment Program Summer Camp Programs This role combines operational leadership with a highly relational and student-centered approach. The ideal candidate is an organized and proactive leader who enjoys building systems, supporting staff, communicating with families, and creating engaging programs that reflect the school's mission and values. The Manager serves as a key point of contact for students, families, faculty, staff, and external program providers while ensuring programs remain safe, welcoming, organized, and developmentally appropriate across both campuses. Key ResponsibilitiesExtended Day Program Leadership Oversee the daily operation of the school's After-School Care Program for students in JrK-8 Ensure a safe, inclusive, engaging, and well-organized environment for students Supervise and support After-School Care staff, including scheduling, communication, training, and team meetings Coordinate daily programming including homework support, games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and enrichment activities Manage attendance, student check-in/check-out procedures, and daily program logistics Support positive student behavior and family communication in alignment with school expectations Continuously evaluate and strengthen program quality and student experience Enrichment Program Coordination Coordinate after-school enrichment classes led by faculty and external vendors Manage scheduling, registration, rosters, room assignments, and family communication Serve as a liaison between enrichment providers, families, faculty, and school leadership Support enrollment tracking, billing coordination, and operational organization in partnership with the Business Office Summer Camp Leadership Assist in planning and overseeing Old Orchard's summer camp programs Coordinate staffing, student enrollment, supplies, schedules, and daily operations Communicate proactively with camp families and program staff Serve as the on-site administrator during camp sessions Partner with school leadership to refine and strengthen summer programming annually Qualifications Experience managing after-school, enrichment, camp, educational, or youth programs Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic school environment Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with students, families, colleagues, and external partners Collaborative, flexible, and solution-oriented mindset Commitment to creating inclusive and supportive environments for all students Schedule & Compensation Regular school year schedule: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:00 PM Summer schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Compensation range: $70,000-$75,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience School holidays and paid time off provided according to the Staff Handbook Commitment to Inclusion Old Orchard School is committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
