This is an exempt, salaried position. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:30 pm and Thursday, 10:30 am - 7:00 pm.

$82,000 to $82,820 per year
Education:
Master's degree in a mental health-related field such as Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required
Licensure :
Registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or Waivered Psychologist required.

Provide supervision and oversight of day-to-day program operations. Provide training, documentation review, and support of all staff including performance appraisals, development plans, as well as disciplinary actions. Work closely with various providers in the region or system to facilitate service delivery for those identified as the target population to be served. Support the 'No Wrong Door philosophy. First responder to intervene in crisis interventions as needed and indicated at the program to ensure the safety of clients, other members, and staff. Participate in and may lead weekly Treatment Team and staff meetings. Develop and maintain positive and professional working relationships with community health, welfare, and social agencies. Collaborate with peers and management on program and client issues to assure optimum outcomes. Act a role model for client care as well as provide hands-on assistance for team leads and clinicians as appropriate. Additional Qualifications and Skills At least 3 years of experience working with adults with co-occurring disorders At least 1 year of management experience is preferred Ability to maintain calm demeanor in crisis situations is essential Strong communication skills, ability to multi-task and have keen attention to detail are necessary Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required A valid California driver's license in good standing, personal vehicle, proof of insurance and eligibility to be an approved CRF driver is required to fulfill the essential functions of this position Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel Ability to pass criminal/background clearance CRF inspires and mentors the next generation of mental health professionals! Our Adult Outpatient Programs (Areta Crowell Wellness Recovery Center, Douglas Young Wellness Recovery Center, Heartland Wellness Recovery Center, Jane Westin Center, Maria Sardinas Wellness Recovery Center, and South Bay Guidance Center ) provide behavioral health services including psychiatric and clinical assessment, treatment planning, ongoing medication services, individual and group counseling, case management, crisis intervention, mobile outreach, vocational support, and peer support. We deliver fully integrated services to adult clients diagnosed with a serious mental illness, as well as individuals with co-occurring, mental health, and substance use disorders. All of our outpatient programs also provide full-time walk-in services. Our programs utilize evidence-based practices to assist our clients in reaching their goals and to live the highest quality of life while managing their mental illness. CRF staff members work together to meet the needs of San Diego County's residents who are experiencing mental/behavioral health challenges.
