Job Overview The Adaptive Skills Sexuality and Relationship Education position is designed for individuals who are passionate about fostering healthy relationships and promoting sexual education among diverse populations. This role involves developing and delivering tailored educational programs that address the unique needs of individuals with varying abilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to creating an inclusive environment that empowers participants to understand and navigate their own sexuality and relationships. Duties Develop comprehensive curricula focused on sexuality and relationship education tailored to the needs of individuals with adaptive skills. Facilitate engaging workshops and training sessions that promote understanding of healthy relationships, consent, boundaries, and communication. Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and community organizations to ensure a holistic approach to education. Assess the effectiveness of educational programs through feedback and evaluations, making necessary adjustments for improvement. Provide resources and support to participants, helping them to apply learned concepts in real-life scenarios. Stay informed about best practices in sexuality education and adapt materials accordingly. Qualifications Master's degree in ABA, Education, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is preferred. Experience in teaching or facilitating workshops focused on sexuality education or adaptive skills is highly desirable. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively. Knowledge of issues related to sexuality, relationships, and adaptive skills for individuals with disabilities. Patience, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude towards participants' experiences and questions. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
