Supported Living Services (SLS) Independent Living Services (ILS) Coordinated Family Support (CFS) Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) We are seeking an experienced and compassionate operational leader who understands Regional Center systems, Title 17 compliance, staffing management, and person-centered care. Position Overview The Director of Operations & Programs will oversee daily operations across all divisions of the organization, including transportation, SLS, ILS, and CFS services. This role requires a strong combination of: Regional Center/DDS experience Human Resources leadership Staff supervision and accountability Program compliance Operational structure and scaling Client and family relationship management The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, emotionally intelligent, and capable of building systems while maintaining compassionate service delivery. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee daily operations for transportation and community-based programs Develop and implement operational systems, workflows, and accountability structures Ensure smooth coordination between dispatch, program staff, supervisors, and leadership Monitor productivity, punctuality, staffing coverage, and service quality Program Oversight Supervise SLS, ILS, and CFS programs Ensure compliance with DDS, Regional Center, and Title 17 regulations Review documentation, progress reports, and service implementation Support program development and vendorization expansion Human Resources Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and retention efforts Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary procedures Develop staff training systems and operational protocols Foster a positive, mission-driven workplace culture Transportation Oversight Supervise transportation operations and dispatch structure Improve route efficiency, scheduling, and employee accountability Ensure vehicle, driver, and safety compliance standards are maintained Leadership & Growth Collaborate directly with executive leadership Assist with scaling operations and improving organizational infrastructure Build relationships with Regional Centers, service coordinators, families, and community partners Qualifications Required Minimum 3-5 years experience working with the intellectually/developmentally disabled population Experience working with Regional Centers and/or DDS-funded services Strong HR and staff management experience Knowledge of Title 17 regulations and compliance Experience managing teams in healthcare, social services, transportation, or behavioral health settings Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and lead in a fast-paced environment Preferred Experience with SLS, ILS, CFS, or Regional Center vendorized programs Experience in NEMT or transportation operations Bilingual (Spanish preferred) Experience developing policies, procedures, and operational systems Benefits Opportunity for executive growth Meaningful and mission-driven work Leadership role in a rapidly growing organization Flexible and collaborative environment Performance-based incentives available How to Apply Please submit: Resume Cover Letter Relevant certifications/licenses (if applicable)
