Job Summary Job Summary Job Summary:
Under the direction of an administrator from the Student Support Service Division or designee, the Teaching and Learning Designer/Facilitator will support the District's initiatives in curriculum, instruction, and assessment. The Designer/Facilitator will function as an instructional designer and content expert within the District. The Designer/Facilitator will provide leadership and guidance in content-specific scope and sequence work, instructional delivery utilizing curriculum and best practices, and assessment of grade-level standards. The Designer/Facilitator will support the development and delivery of content-related professional development. The Designer/Facilitator will use improvement tools and strategies to understand and respond to the needs of the system to improve student outcomes. The Designer/Facilitator will support district compliance with California Common Core Standards and the California Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Expanded Learning Opportunity Quality Standards. CREDENTIAL
Possession of a valid California Multiple Subject or Single Subject Teaching Credential with an English Learner Authorization.
EXPERIENCE/OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Possession of a bachelor's or higher degree. Master's Degree preferred; A minimum of five (5) years of teaching experience; Presenting and/or coaching adults desired; Evidence of experience in the desired content area; Evidence of experience in assisting and enhancing the professional growth of colleagues; Willingness to continue to seek professional development credential(s).
