Program Manager

Position Summary The Program Manager at Westside Family Preservation Services Network (WFPSN) will lead and oversee the organization's activities under the California Workplace Outreach Project (CWOP). This position is responsible for managing program operations, supervising staff, ensuring deliverables are met, and maintaining compliance with grant requirements. The Program Manager will oversee outreach and educational activities that inform workers about their labor rights and available resources, while ensuring effective implementation of program strategies. This role includes oversight of staff providing direct support to workers and coordination of community outreach efforts designed to connect workers with education, resources, and services. The Program Manager will also maintain direct engagement with workers to better understand community needs, support outreach efforts, and ensure services are responsive and effective. The position ensures alignment with program goals, reporting requirements, and CWOP objectives. Key Responsibilities Worker Support Provide direct one-on-one assistance to workers facing labor-related concerns. Review cases involving unpaid wages, delayed payments, or missing workweeks. Assist workers in completing forms related to labor complaints or claims. Explain workers' rights and the steps involved in filing complaints with appropriate agencies. Refer workers to appropriate agencies or community resources when necessary. Community Engagement & Outreach Lead and supervise community outreach activities in rural and agricultural communities throughout Fresno County. Oversee and support door-to-door outreach, field visits, and worker engagement activities carried out by outreach staff. Build and maintain relationships with community members, workers, and local partners. Coordinate and monitor outreach activities to ensure progress toward program goals and deliverables. Event Coordination Lead and oversee the planning and coordination of community workshops, outreach events, and educational sessions organized by WFPSN. Supervise and support event logistics, including scheduling, materials preparation, and overall event execution. Ensure events are aligned with program goals, CWOP objectives, and deliverables. Community Food Distribution Outreach Participate in and support community food distribution events organized or supported by WFPSN. Use these events as opportunities to connect workers with program services and labor rights education. Qualifications Experience working with community-based programs, outreach initiatives, or worker support services. Experience in program coordination, leadership, or supervision preferred. Ability to work with confidential information and sensitive cases. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure program goals and deliverables are met. Bilingual English/Spanish Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.) for reporting, documentation, and communication. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
