Job Description

The Program Manager will be responsible for programmatic logistics, including scheduling, parent communication, staff onboarding, and more. We are seeking someone who enjoys coordinating and keeping details in order to serve as a connector between various moving parts of the program in order to bridge staff, students, and families seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the daily program schedule, including arrivals, transitions, meals and dismissal the daily schedule: arrivals, transitions, meals, dismissal Serve as primary contact for parents and guardians, ensuring timely communication Onboard, support, and coordinate with teachers and counselors to guarantee programmatic alignment Maintain accurate attendance records, capture program photos, track and inventory supplies Coordinate with external partners to host guest speakers, plan field trips, managing all associated logistics including scheduling, transportation, permissions, materials and more Oversee program documentation (i.e. insurance policies, budgetary documents, etc.) to ensure compliance with all program requirements

The ideal applicant: Communicates clearly and professionally through email and conversation Is organized, detail oriented, and enjoys problem solving and finding creative solutions to logistical problems Collaborates well in a team, is a flexible, self-starter, and brings an open-minded, positive attitude, and fresh ideas Has experience managing youth programs, camps or community organizations Is connected to youth communities in the Bay Area Applications are due by May 15th.

We do this by creating science kits, hosting summer camps, after-school programs, and field trips, and this summer, Kits Cubed will launch a 6-week engineering program at Oakland Technical High School for incoming 7th and 8th graders to gain hands-on training in the fundamentals of technical and applied science.
