This is an opportunity to step into a meaningful leadership role where you'll help support youth, guide staff, and play a key role in maintaining safe, stable, and compassionate residential environments.
This position supports:
A Short-Term Residential Therapeutic Program (STRTP) for girls in foster care A co-ed emergency youth shelter program If you are passionate about supporting youth, thrive in fast-paced environments, and want to make a direct impact in the lives of young people facing trauma and instability, this could be a strong fit. What You'll Be Doing Support day-to-day operations across two youth residential programs Supervise weekend and on-call staff Serve as an administrator during licensing visits and support compliance efforts Assist with staffing coordination, scheduling, and crisis support Help create structure, consistency, and accountability within the programs Support youth-centered, trauma-informed programming Participate in one week of on-call coverage per month (primarily handled remotely) What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred) Minimum 2-3 years of experience working directly with youth Residential, shelter, foster care, behavioral health, STRTP, or crisis program experience strongly preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both staff and youth Ability to maintain healthy boundaries while leading with empathy and compassion Organized, flexible, and comfortable balancing responsibilities across multiple locations Administrator certification is a plus: STRTP Administrator Certification preferred Group Home Administrator Certification acceptable Why This Role Stands Out Opportunity to make a meaningful impact with youth facing complex trauma and life challenges Leadership team that values collaboration and support Flexible schedule with built-in hybrid/admin day High-impact role with visibility and growth potential Mission-driven environment focused on helping vulnerable youth succeed This is not a traditional desk job — it's a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who is compassionate, adaptable, and motivated by purpose-driven work.
