Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and highly organized team member to join our team in a unique hybrid role supporting both administrative operations and aquatic programming for a swim facility serving autistic individuals and persons with disabilities. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, adaptable, customer-service driven, and genuinely passionate about creating a safe, supportive, and positive environment for individuals with diverse needs and their families. About the
Role:
This position combines office administration, customer service, and hands-on operational support within our aquatic program. Flexibility is essential, as team members may be asked to assist in multiple areas depending on daily needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative / Office Support
  • Scheduling appointments, sessions, staff coverage, and program coordination
  • Answering phones and assisting families, caregivers, and clients
  • Filing and maintaining organized records and documentation
  • Assisting with newsletters and communications
  • Completing and maintaining incident reports and internal documentation
  • General office and operational administrative support
  • Customer Service
  • Serve as a welcoming, professional, and compassionate first point of contact
  • Support families with scheduling, questions, changes, and concerns
  • Provide exceptional service with patience, empathy, and professionalism
  • Aquatic Program Support
  • Assist with swim program operations and pool deck support as needed
  • Step in to support operations when team members are absent or additional help is needed
  • Help maintain a calm, safe, and structured environment for participants
  • Support staff and participants during sessions as appropriate
  • Training available for specific swim support duties, CPR, and lifeguard certification
Required Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be bilingual (please specify languages in application)
  • Compassionate, patient, and comfortable working with autistic individuals and persons with disabilities
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, flexible, and willing to jump in where needed
  • Calm under pressure and able to maintain professionalism in dynamic situations
  • Comfortable working in and around an aquatic environment
Preferred Experience:
Experience in customer service, administration, education, therapy support, recreation, aquatics, or disability services is a plus—but not required for the right candidate.
Schedule Requirements:
This role requires flexibility and availability across all 7 days of the week, including; days, evenings, weekends
Training Provided:
We are willing to train the right person, including swim program support responsibilities and required certifications where applicable.
