We are seeking a Director of PMO to build, scale, and lead our Program Management Office. This hands-on, strategic role is ideal for a leader who is highly organized, execution-focused and excels at bringing clarity to ambiguity. You will define the processes, tooling, and culture that ensure our complex AI infrastructure programs and projects are delivered predictably and efficiently, partnering closely with executives to translate strategy into execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build & Scale the PMO :
Establish the PMO from the ground up-defining organizational structure, role clarity, and career paths. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of Technical Program & Project Managers. Portfolio & Strategic Execution:
Translate executive strategy, roadmaps and incoming work into actionable programs. Drive cross-functional alignment across Sales, Engineering, and Operations, managing how projects are run, budgets, risks, and resource prioritization. Facilitate trade-off discussions to optimize value delivery. Process & Tooling Modernization:
Implement scalable, lightweight delivery standards without slowing down high-velocity teams. Define and drive tooling for roadmaps and end-to-end portfolio visibility. Operational Excellence:
Define and operationalize meaningful metrics and dashboards to improve predictability, transparency, and executive decision-making. Champion continuous improvement by resolving cross-team conflicts and eliminating process friction. REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in a technical field, Business Administration, or related discipline. 8+ years in program/portfolio leadership, with 3+ years of people management. Proven success building or scaling a PMO in a hyper-growth environment (startup scale-up or high-growth division). Expertise in Agile methodologies, portfolio management and reporting. Hands-on experience driving the adoption of modern PMO tools and data infrastructure. Proven ability to influence across functions without formal authority, resolve ambiguity, and communicate risks and trade-offs clearly to executives. What Sets you Apart from the Crowd Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure and cloud platforms. Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP, SAFe, PMI-ACP). COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary range for the Marketing Specialist is $151,000 to $217,000. This pay range reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay range for this job for the location for which it has been posted. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
