50 About the Opportunity A public health agency is seeking an experienced and driven Program Manager to oversee complex, multi-stakeholder projects from initiation through completion. This individual will play a central role in coordinating resources, managing timelines, and supporting grants administration within a dynamic laboratory science environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating at the intersection of science, public health, and project operations.Location :

Contract through 6/30/2026 (possibility for extension) Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and monitor project timelines, implementing adjustments as needed to keep initiatives on track and within scope. Track contract budgets and expenditures, including the preparation of financial reports and related administrative documentation. Proactively identify risks and help develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity. Partner with laboratory leadership and staff to identify opportunities to streamline and optimize grants administration processes. Provide end-to-end support for grants administration and oversight, ensuring implementation aligns with both operational and financial requirements. Assist with invoicing, accounting, reporting, and other administrative functions as needed to support successful grant execution. Monitor and maintain accurate records for all documentation associated with grant-funded programs. Address and resolve issues that arise throughout the project lifecycle, escalating when appropriate. Manage personnel, budget, and equipment resources effectively to ensure optimal utilization across programs.Qualifications Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Business, Engineering, Public Health, or a related discipline.Preferred:
Master's degree in a relevant field. Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent); candidates without certification are encouraged to apply, as this may be obtained while in the role. Prior experience in a public health or laboratory sciences environment is strongly preferred. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder communication skills — both written and verbal. Demonstrated project management capabilities, including risk identification and resource coordination. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel and macro development. Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving capabilities.
