SMCS-Valley Administration Position Overview:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations and direction of one or more programs. Oversees and ensures the effective coordination of activities and resources of designated program(s) and projects that may impact operations, systems, other programs/departments and/or patients and their families. Understands the program's strategic goals and ensures that program objectives are accomplished within set parameters. Ensures that program activities are well planned, organized, and follow regulatory guidelines. Participates in the development and implementation of department goals and objectives.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
PROGRAM SUPPORT:
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities for designated program(s) to ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished within pre-established parameters. Manages day-to-day program operations ensuring the program delivers high quality results/services. Develops and implements policies, standard work, processes and workflows to ensure effective and efficient operations. Evaluates existing program management practices and program effectiveness; makes recommendations and leads improvement efforts. Proactively identifies, addresses, and keeps program leads abreast of potential barriers or issues with program activities. Serves as a resource to the organization, providing direction for issue/problem resolution and responding timely to escalated issues. Serves as liaison to internal and external constituents and promotes program goals and objectives. Implements and enforces adherence to program, department, affiliate, and/or system standards, policies and procedures, and applicable standards, laws, and regulations. Provides in-service training upon request in areas of expertise. Ensures the maintenance of appropriate records and level of supplies.
REPORTING
Oversees and coordinates preparation of internal and external reports through gathering, analyzing, and summarizing program data and information. Works on overall program /project planning. Provides support to the departments by gathering and analyzing data for quality improvement efforts. Prepares presentation materials/reports, as needed.
PROGRAM MARKETING
Liaises with the Marketing and Communication departments to support the design and implementation of marketing strategies that increase the awareness and continued growth of the program. Evaluates and implements short- and long-term plans and goals for community/program outreach activities. Develops industry partnerships and promotes the program in the community. Ensures relevant standards, processes and regulations are upheld.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's:
Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE
2 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and/or leaders to achieve program objectives. Organizational skills and the proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously. Effective communication skills are essential, with an emphasis on writing. Motivated and resourceful self-starter with the ability to anticipate needs, meet deadlines, and solve problems creatively, both independently and in team settings. Adaptability to interact with various types of visitors with poise and self-confidence. Desire and ability to work independently and autonomously.

Total compensation considers multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
