Job Summary Job Summary The Program Specialist assists the Director of Student Services and Special Education to observe, consult and assist special education and general education staff in providing services to students with special needs. The Program Specialist also assists in planning and evaluating programs for students with special needs, coordinates curricular resources, and plans/designs/presents professional development for both general education and special education staff regarding services for students with special needs. The Program Specialist may serve as Administrative Designee at IEP meetings as needed.
