Description:
Responsibilities:
Research, plan, schedule, implement and supervise all program activities: e.g., staff/individual grouping, job site coverage, transportation, curriculum development, daily activities, special events, extracurricular activities, field trips, etc. Complete attendance and schedule snapshots daily. Monitor individual support plans for participants: e.g., IPCSP's, field chart, behavior calendar, medication and care plans, etc. Provide supervisor with information regarding incomplete documentation of support plans. Ensure objectives are being implemented. Provide classes when needed. Implement ISSP's, TA's, individual care and Behavior Plans when necessary. Ensure timelines are being followed regarding completion of all paperwork. Provide training, assistance and supervisor to Instructors/Teachers/Teacher's Aides/Driver-Instructors in completion of daily work, e.g., data sheets, daily notes, TA's, VTS, Dailies, Behavior Calendars and staff timesheets, etc. Follow timelines regarding completion of all paperwork. Provide resources and materials for staff. Schedule and facilitate Person Centered Planning, My Plan with case responsible person. Develops and completes IPCSP's, TA's, and SIR's within required timelines. In the absence of the Program Director/Manager, is responsible for the supervision and overall safety of the program site. Assist Program Director/Manager with scheduling staff training; e.g., Mandatory Trainings, reports from Pace OT, Nurse, Behavior Specialist and other consultants etc. Attend Mandatory Trainings, Staff Meetings, Staff Trainings that may occur after your typical scheduled work hours. Maintain positive communication with individuals who attend program, home-providers, supervisors, co-workers, referral agencies and community at large. Disseminate appropriate information to site management. Report all suspected abuse in accordance with Mandated Reporter regulations and procedures. Display professional and respectful attitude towards participants, co-workers, supervisors and assignments. Ability to lift/transfer/push/pull/bend/turn/pivot up to 38 lbs. occasionally while assisting participants including those in wheelchairs as a support in daily program activities and personal care needs. Ability to sustain a forward bend occasionally while assisting participants in assembly tasks, table top activities and eating lunch. Follow safety procedures on an ongoing basis. Other related duties as assigned.
Salary/Hours:

BA degree and a minimum of one year experience in the management of a human services delivery system OR 2 years of experience in a human services delivery system and one year of supervisory experience Valid CA driver's license, proof of insurance for a car that can be used during work time, acceptable DMV printout Must pass pre-placement physical which includes a skin T.B. test or chest x-ray, breath alcohol test (BAT), drug screen and pre-work screen (back evaluation which includes the ability to lift/transfer/push/pull/bend/turn/pivot up to 38 lbs. occasionally and the ability to sustain a forward bend occasionally) FBI/DOJ fingerprint clearance
